In 2006, Reiter Engineering from Kirchanschöring was one of the first teams to back the then new FIA GT3 category founded by SRO Chairman Stephane Ratel.
Ratel expands his portfolio of racing series’ with the introduction of the SRO Sports Club for the 2015 season. The new sprint series is reserved for drivers possessing a maximum of the FIA Bronze status. GT racing newcomers are also welcome, like gentlemen drivers.
Reiter Engineering aims to be one of the first teams to register for this new series this time as well. Which is why, two of the newly developed Gallardo EXTENSO will race permanently in the SRO Sports Club.

Gulf Racing demonstrates endurance qualities of the Gallardo FL2 GT3 in the 24h of Dubai
Gulf Racing fielded a Gallardo FL2 GT3 developed and built by Reiter Engineering in the tenth running of the Hankook 24 hours of Dubai, the opening round of the 24h Series 2015. The team competed with drivers Jamie Campbell-Walter, Stuart Hall, Frederic Fatien and Roald Goethe in the A6-Am class for GT3 cars and gentlemen drivers.
During the opening stages, the quartet drove clean and consistently and were able to establish themselves in the top 10 in class. As darkness fell over the Dubai circuit, they started their march to the front of the class. In the eighth hour of the race, the Gulf Racing Gallardo FL2 GT3 ran in fifth place and survived a difficult night in this position without a single problem. Reiter Engineering customer Vattana Motorsport takes drivers’ and teams’ titles in the Thailand Super Series, Tomas Enge signs off with two victories in SaReNi Camaro GT3.
Reiter Engineering customer team Vattana Motorsport fittingly rounded-off a successful 2014 Thailand Super Series season. Tomas Enge took pole position with a lap of 1m 37.887s in the Camaro GT3 at Thailand’s most important motorsport event of the year – the Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival 2014. This was the first ever pole position on a street circuit for the Reiter Engineering developed Camaro GT3.
Chonsawat Asavahame in a Gallardo FL2 GT3 entered by Vattana Motorsport ensured that the front row was monopolised by Reiter Engineering products. This grid formation should make the weekend very exciting, even though these two drivers sat first and second in the championship...Read more...
KTM AND REITER: GT RACE CAR FOR CUSTOMER RACING

The announcement from Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co KG and KTM Sportcar GmbH that they are working on a new KTM racing car has caused quite a stir in the racing scene. Now there are further details for all those interested in putting their trust in a GT4 racing car from Reiter Engineering in the coming year, one that is homologated from SRO and Pirelli World Challenge.
The new rendering by KISKA points to the final design of the KTM racing car. The vehicle showcases the typically futuristic KTM design. Not only is the overall design impressive, but the technology behind the completely redesigned exterior will be state-of-the-art.

Reiter Engineering develops a far-reaching evolution of the proven GT3 car as Lamborghini’s official Gallardo GT3 partner and plans to enter the new racecar in the Blancpain GT Series, the US Pirelli World Challenge and the SRO GT Sports Club.

GT Asia Macau: 3rd place for Dilango Gallardo in finale
The GT Asia series finale was held on the challenging circuit in Macau: the narrow street circuit leaves no room for errors and demands precise and fast driving. In the GT Asia series classification, the Reiter Engineering customer Dilantha Malagamuwa took an excellent third place on the podium in the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 fielded by Dilango Racing from Sri Lanka.

The press release from KTM and Reiter Engineering published at the beginning of the week has obviously aroused interest and raised several questions. Many media representatives and customers have approached our partner and us with these questions. We would like to use this opportunity to answer the most frequently asked questions:
Will it be a GT3, GT4 or even a GTE racecar?
I can’t give you any concrete data today, but I’m happy to give comparable information.
The fundamental difference was clearly visible in the press release: the car has a closed cockpit and the outer skin of a super sportscar. The car will be similar in form to a Lamborghini Countach, which means a very flat and wide car. The design is, however, typical KTM: angular, chiselled, aggressive, and simply cool.
