A ten lap race for GT cars was part of the support programme for last weekend’s traditional Macau Grand Prix. Keita Sawa won the battle around the tight and challenging track in a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3.
Sawa passed pole sitter and GT professional O´Young immediately after start. Even after the safety car was deployed at half-distance due to several accidents the Japanese driver kept his cool and retained the lead to the chequered flag. Another Gallardo driver Samuel Yau (HKG) also finished in the top-ten in the GT Cup Macau race around the 6.2 km track. A total of six GT3 Lamborghinis competed in the 31 car field.
