FIA GT1 World Championship
26/27 May 2012, Navarra (ESP)
The third round of the FIA GT1 World Championship will take place in Los Arcos (Navarra) in the north of Spain next weekend (26/27 May). The Reiter Engineering team only scored a total of 18 World Championship points in the first two races in Nogaro (FRA) and Zolder (BEL).
Hans Reiter (team principal) and the pilots were not pleased about that, considering that the Lamborghini set the standard for the FIA GT1 World Championship at this track in Navarra in the last two seasons.
The drivers, Peter Kox (NLD) and Darryl O’Young (CHN) as well as Albert von Thurn und Taxis (DEU) and Tomas Enge (CZE), will do their best in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ to continue the success story of the brand at the 3.933km (2.443 miles) long track.
Since the event will take place in conjunction with the FIA GT3 European Championship the schedule will be tight:
