Podium finish in Zandvoort for Mayr-Melnhof / von Thurn und Taxis

Albert von Thurn und Taxis and Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof could finish the 11th race oft he FIA GT3 European Championship in Zandvoort on third position.

After his fifth fastest lap time in Qualifying, Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof started the race near the leading cars and was already third after the first corner.

During the first half of the race he had to let pass two cars, but a perfect pit stop of the Reiter Engineering crew brought Albert von Thurn und Taxis back to the track in third position. Von Thurn und Taxis defended his podium position in his Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ and could climbe the podium with Mayr-Melnhof for the third time this season.
