Georges Cabannes secured the title in the gentlmen trophy at the last race of the Blancpain Endurance Series.

In the Ruffier Racing Lamborghini Gallardo LP520 GT3 the French reached position 2 of the class with Gilles Vannelet and Fabien Michal at Silverstone.

In the Pro-Am class Peter Kox and Marc A. Hayek started in a Reiter Engineering Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3. They fought their way through the field up to position 3 in the 3 hour race and could step on the podium again at the final. In the championship they took the 7th place. With Lorenzo Beinao de Veiga, Ricardo Bravo and Duarte Felix da Costa (Rhino’s Leipert Motorsport) another Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3 Team classified in the top 10. With the points collected in the five races they ended the year 2011 on position 3 of the standings. Frederic Fatien and Andrea Barlesi in their Gulf Racing Gallardo reached the 6th place in the race.

In the first season of the Blancpain Endurance Series the Lamborghini Gallardo Teams were able to secure four victories in the Pro-Am and the gentlmen class.
