The number 24 with Hayek/Kox/Menten saved the pole position in the Pro-Am class and the number 25 with Amos/Mayr-Melnhof/v. Thurn u. Taxis showed off with the 14th best time in a strong GT-field of 62 cars.
Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof started a fantastic chase from the beginning and was able to get the number 25 Lamborghini starting from 14 ahead to position 7. However when he wanted to hand over the car to his teammate Eugenio Amos after 2 hours, Mayr-Melnhof failed spectacular at the pitentrance and turned his Lamborghini to the roof.
Peter Kox meanwhile drove his rounds in the second Lamborghini as leader and could get into a constant lead. After the pitstop his teammate Marc A. Hayek fascinated with laptimes at pro level before he had to turn of his car after a engineproblem.
The other Lamborghini team had a remarkable better run, but unfortunately also did not see the finishline. The Gulf Racing Team was kicked out of the race hardly after a crash with a competitor after 6 hours. Team Rhinos Leipert went through the night without any problems but was also eliminated due to an accident after nearly 16 hours.
