24h of Dubai 2011: pre-finish retreat for Blancpain Reiter

Still two Gallardos in the race. Peter Kox and Fabien Giorix drove the first stints in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 Gt3 of Blancpain Reiter and Gulf Team First nearly syncronous at the Dubai Autodrome.

Lamborghini secures first starting row at Dubai!

The debut of the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 could not have been more impressive in the Qualifying of the 24h of Dubai. The bulls of Blancpain Reiter and Gulf Team First captured the first starting row for the sixth 24h race.

With Three Lamborghini Gallardo at the 24h of Dubai

The racing season  for three Lamborghini teams will already begin in the middle of January with the 24h of Dubai. For the first time starting in the fight at the Emirates will be Team Blancpain Reiter with a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT3 in the A6 class. Therefor teamprincipal Hans Reiter pins his hopes on a loyal drivers line-up.

With a 3rd place in the GT1 world championship Blancpain Reiter ends a very successful season.

At the last race of the FIA GT1 world championship in Arngentina a fourth and a tenth place of Kechele/Jiminez and Kox/Haase were enough for an end result under the best 3 in the world.

Lamborghini fastest in Free Practice

Lamborghini led the way in Free Practice at the stunning Potrero de los Funes circuit with the No.25 of Frank Kechele and Sergio Jimenez setting the fastest time in the 80-minutes of Free Practice with a lap of 2:16.155

Some impressions from FIA GT1 World Championship - round Brazil

Unfortunately, neither car #24 nor #25 could score important points. Car #25 has faced some technical issues so that it had to stop. The run for team title has become tougher for the last race in Argentina.
